5 Places to Find Your Halloween Pinup Look

Halloween Themed Dresses

Online retailers who get your spooky vibe

(and stock for every size)

Let’s face it – we don’t find these things out in the wild very often. And the places we do find probably carry a limited size range.

I’ve been to this rodeo many times, so I’m here to show you around some of my favorite places on the internet offering Halloween style in inclusive sizes…

Where To Find Halloween Dresses, Tops and Skirts Online

I will update as I find more shops that offer Halloween clothing year-round at inclusive sizes, so be sure to check back!

UNIQUE VINTAGE

One of my absolute favorite shops all year long, but I always find myself eagerly anticipating the seasonal Creepy Collection.

Each collection features variations on a theme that can easily be mixed and matched. This year, that fitted striped suit from the Beetlejuice x Unique Vintage collection has me dreaming of how hot a pinup Beetlejuice costume would be…

THE OBLONG BOX SHOP

I found this shop through a collaboration with Unique Vintage when I purchased the Harlequin Halloween-Cat Sweater.

That’s also when I learned about the limited-run nature of The Oblong Box Shop. It features unique pieces and changes things up quite a bit, but that means that you can’t count on an item to be there for long. If you like it, make moves to get it as soon as you can.

There are several Halloween-themed collections to check out now for sale and pre-order, including Trick O’ Treat Pumpkin Pinup by Coppertop Ink and Cobweb CVLT by TOBS.

PINUP GIRL CLOTHING

I love Pinup Girl Clothing, but it can be one of the pricier options. It tends to be my go-to for separates or dresses for special occasions.

PUG’s Halloween Collection is not yet on the website, but you can get a sneak peek and even pre-order through the Facebook group Pinup Girl Clothing Customer Lounge. The group is private, so you need to answer the admin questions and be accepted before joining the group.

*PSSSST*…if you dig the Overlook Hotel print, you might want to check out that Facebook group…

VIXEN BY MICHELINE PITT

Let’s talk about Micheline Pitt. Artist, designer, model (above left and bottom right). She does it all.

I’ve loved her Halloween collections over the years and her fun collabs like this year’s It, Pet Cemetery, and Ghostbusters collections.

Also, my love for vintage Halloween art means that her Ben Cooper-inspired cross-body bags live rent-free in my head.

HELL BUNNY

Hell Bunny has such a fun look, and some of the dreamiest sweaters.

I purchased the Charlotte Jumper (top middle) at the end of last season and – let me tell you – it is so incredibly SOFT. I cannot deal with a scratchy sweater for even two seconds, and this gossamer cloud definitely passes the test.

Check out the Hell Bunny Halloween Collection, but be sure to look around the site a bit. There are so many great pieces that fit the Halloween vibe that you won’t find under in the collection.

More Options

There are a few good shops that I haven’t included here, like ModCloth and Sourpuss.

ModCloth has good quality pieces, but its’ Halloween style isn’t as bold as I like.

Sourpuss collabs with some of the brands above, and I generally dig their separates more than dresses. Plus, you will see them on my next post where we put away our fancy pants and relax a bit. More on that in a minute.

Word of Warning

In an attempt to include a wider range of price points, I found some really cute Halloween dresses at prices that seemed too good to be true.

And, generally, they were.

Be on the lookout for sites that sell clothing at a much lower price point than you generally see for that type of merchandise. Google the company, look for reviews and ask around about it. Scam sites abound so I absolutely recommend doing a little homework.

Up Next – Halloween T-shirts!

I love to put on my fancy pants (or, more accurately, fancy wiggle dress), but to really live that Halloween 365 life, we need some spooky tees.

We deserve comfort. We deserve the option to dress up or dress down with jeans or a skirt. We deserve a $20 price point. And, perhaps most of all, we deserve a tag that says “machine washable”.

Next week, we’re going to jump in and talk about Halloween tees. Until then, here’s a sneak peek at my absolute favorite sites…

MISCHIEF MADE

The moment I laid eyes on Mischief Made’s Spooky Story t-shirt on Unique Vintage, I fell in love with her work. I now shop directly on her site, where there is so much more to choose from. Mischief Made graciously gave permission for me to use her Book of Spells design on my homepage, so I can also tell you that she is a fantastic (and pretty rad) human.
